Went over to Penang last weekend.. Was a super fun trip, albeit a lil short, but it was very nice n relaxing =)
Took a bus, which was rly tiring.. I went there via NICE bus at RM74.50 (super exp..) and it was not worth it la.. the bus is dirty, the tv only have 3 shows that repeat itself.. BOOOO!!! But the return we took AeroLine at RM60.00 which was SOOOOOO much better! There was like super alot of shows, cleaner, better food and got pillow and head set. Cheaper some more.. ngek ngek!

So i was in charge of booking everything, and then i was like seriously browsing for a nice place to stay la, I'm not a fan of hostels or motels.. because, god forbid i should catch some fancy STD by just using their blanket.. Or worse.. a patch of skin infection =( Then my friend recomended me a few hotels la.. And one of which rly caught my attention.. The Mews.. The have a few hotels, one of which, Noordin Mews, which i love!! check it our on their site for more info!
But in a nutshell, it's this old-fashioned shop house converted into this boutique flashpacker hotel.
Click pic to look at it bigger. Shot using panorama mode yawl!
More pics of the interior.. =)
Look at their super cute bottles.. which apparently is very common in Penang =.= but i was too jakun.. And oh ya.. they did serve complimentary arrival iced tea.. perfect for their super hot weather... =)
And no.. that's not my cheongsam in the photo frame =.=
We woke up like super early.. just to lounge by the pool, and have some tea.. At like.. 6.30am.. Breakfast was kinda cool, u can choose any kind of eggs, and the kitchen makes it fresh for you.. I had poached eggs =)
View from our room.. Super cantek right? =) Argh... now i want a permenant room there =)
of course that night we went out for seafood in Tanjung Tokong.. prawns, crabs, lala, fish... mmmmm... craves!!
*Listen, Listen, Listen... Penang has alot of flashpacker hotels which are...

Mews, kind of pricey right for a night's stay ?
Aiden - HAHAHAAH lolz.. if ure in Pg, u shud consider staying here =)
ChenXing - it was rm275/night, bfast included. =) i thought it was alright since it's rly beautiful.. =)
Definitely! I want to go to Penang one more time before leaving. But it also depends on the company too. I WILL FORCE THEM TO STAY HERE. HAhahaha
One way by bus??? So expensive??? It may be cheaper to fly...but of course, if you add the taxi fares between the airports and home/hotel, then perhaps it is cheaper to take a bus.
Eeeeeee...that cheongsam in the frame! Like Ching Ming or Hungry Ghost Festival.
RM275? Hmmm...no, thank you. With that kind of money, I'd go g-Hotel or Cititel, Penang...and the like.
Aiden - YOU SHOULD! hehehe~ i rly enjoyed my stay there =)
Suituapui - haha G-hotel is 300++, and erm, the rooms are generic hotel rooms la.. Of course facilities and stuff is better. if ure looking for a more unique experience, old fashioned decor, then Mews will b better =) Hahah yea the buses are the more expensive ones.. they have personal tv, headset, pillows and food =)
